Hendon Christian Housing Association

Our Board

The Board is made up of between 5 and 12 members. Currently there are 6 members, including a chair, vice-chair and secretary. Appointments are based on the skills required by the Board, but the association is active in maintaining its links with the local community and the churches that were instrumental in its founding.

Profiles of the current Board members are set out below:

Andrew Taylor (Chair)

Andrew has nearly 30 years’ experience in social housing. He has led a number of organisations overseeing the transformation in performance, governance, resident engagement and delivery of major stock investment. Since 2016, Andrew has operated as a consultant and held a number of interim and non-executive roles in the housing, health and charity sectors.

Susan James (Vice Chair)

Susan is Head of Complaints within the Civil Service, a Barnet resident and church member leading on the parish electoral roll. She has been a board member since 2017 bringing a focus on governance, customer care and website management.

Rosh Ahamed (Company Secretary)

Rosh is a housing manager within a large regional associations and beings that expertise and insight to the HCHA board.

Simone Stoll

Simone has lived in Barnet for most her life and works as an administrator. She has been involved in Scouting for the last 11 years with 10 of them being a club leader. Simone has also been a school governor.

Chikezie Ekeanyanwu

Chikezie is a board advisor for a firm with interests in commercial property with a focus on strategy. He has wide experience of different aspects of the private rental sector business, is a member of the UK PropTech association and committee member of the BCS Financial Services SG. He has worked for investment banks such as JP Morgan and UBS and currently runs a consultancy business.

Nduka Agada

Nduka is a senior manager responsible for retirement housing. As a seasoned housing professional with more than 25 years of social housing experience, Nduka is known for driving excellence in person-centred customer service and managing change. Prior to this career in the housing sector, he worked as senior marketing executive in various settings. Nduka a Fellow of Institute of Leadership and Management and holds an MBA from University of Hertfordshire specialising in small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) Management and Entrepreneurship.

Bill Taylor

Bill Taylor has been involved in the Building Construction industry throughout his working life. He was Chair of a medium sized firm of consulting engineers for many years. He is active in day-to-day Scouting in Mill Hill and attends a local Church. He has played a significant role with Scouts and Girlguiding as they redeveloped local campsites in the Barnet area. Apart from his role in HCHA for the last 9 years, he is a committee member of the Mill Hill Preservation Society and a Trustee of a Charity which provides support for Small Charities.

Eve Haddow (Retired)

Eve has recently retired from the board. HCHA would like to thank Eve for the hard work and dedication she given to HCHA and we wish her well for her retirement.
